We came to spend one night on a pitch and it won’t be our last, because we loved your campsite! The person who welcomed us was lovely, and the little gifts and Wifi were very much appreciated. The restaurant was top-notch, even if it was a bit overbooked. Our pitch was occupied when we arrived, but they quickly found a solution. Our daughter really enjoyed the heated swimming pool, and the proximity of the lake is great. And I’m not forgetting the mini golf course, the ping-pong tables and the sanitary facilities, which were decent. In short, we’ll be back!

We spent a lovely week at the campsite. Spacious mobile home, air conditioning, large shower.
A positive point is the large swimming pool and a special mention to the pizzaiolo.I recommend it. Quite close to places to visit, pont du diable, saint guilhem du désert, la cascade de vie, etc…
Bonne continuation.

From May 8 to 12, 2024, we reunited our family in 4 cottages and we’re thrilled. The campsite is perfectly located, very well equipped and offers a wide range of activities: a large hot pool, mini golf, bowling green, gym and, above all, a very friendly restaurant where we chose half-board. All the staff are welcoming, available and competent. The cottages are perfectly and extensively equipped. The campsite was fully booked, but this was never noticeable. We highly recommend it.

Sète and the coastline—explore them from our campsite

Choosing our campsite near Sète is the perfect way to explore the city. Here are five must-see attractions to include in your trip near Sète:

  • Mont Saint-Clair overlooks the city and offers a 360° panoramic view of the sea, the rooftops, and the Thau Lagoon. At its summit, the seaside cemetery is home to the grave of the poet Paul Valéry.
  • The canals are the reason Sète is nicknamed the “Venice of Languedoc.” Every summer, they host water jousting tournaments, a tradition that began in 1666 and whose highlight remains the Saint-Louis Festival in August.
  • The beaches of the Lido stretch for about a dozen kilometers between Sète and Marseillan. With lifeguards on duty, bike paths, and beach huts, they’re perfect for a family day out.
  • The Thau Lagoon, the largest lagoon in Occitanie, delights food lovers with oysters and mussels from Bouzigues. You can enjoy them while looking out over the oyster farms, after a boat ride on the lagoon.
  • The fishing port, one of the largest on the French Mediterranean coast, gives Sète its maritime spirit as the trawlers return. Round out your visit with a “tielle,” a local specialty, and a stop at the Espace Georges Brassens, dedicated to the singer who was born in the city.

Our tip: Park near the harbor, then walk up the Quai de la Marine, past fish stalls and shaded outdoor cafes. At the end of the day, climb Mont Saint-Clair to watch the sunset over the lagoon, before continuing on to Pointe Courte, the fishing hamlet made famous by Agnès Varda.
