The town of Pézenas
At 20 minutes
A former Roman colony, Pézenas became part of the French crown in 1261. Molière lived there frequently between 1653 and 1657, and wrote “Les précieuses ridicules” there. Today, the town is renowned for its many arts and crafts stores.
